it´s just a small illustration for a 4 page comic I did for BTPH and the german Paper Theatre Magazine.

Painting without colors was difficult, since I am used to create light and shadow with different shades of blue and red. Umpf.

Dedicated to Abbas and the bulb.

If you cannot see the details, the monitor might be too dark. Sorry >_<

Licht/Schatten ist bei deiner Illustration garnicht so wichtig. Hättest du es dennoch machen wollen hättest du die Struktur der Rinde nur in Richtung der Glühbirne zeigen sollen und nicht auf der anderen Seite. Außerdem hättest du die Katze etwas beleuchten müssen. Aber ich denke das hätte der Illustration nicht gut getan, denn die Katze macht soviel von der Stimmung aus.
Ein sehr schönes Bild mit stimmungsvollen, kleinen Details (an den Augen z.B.) und du hast eine tolle Handschrift.

The face in the tree is great with it's arms raised. Also, the tree blends smoothly into the black ground beneath it. The white backround provides a nice silhouette to the piece.

@Gods-Mistake ow, it´s not my handwriting, that would look like this:

the type is Phank! I think... I use it for Hakula as the regular type since it fits to the story... ^_^
