this pic made me very emotional at least... I spend too much time on the clouds and got finally lost in the details.
First I wanted to do another Kulla but I chnaged the concept and it became of what we can do when we are asleep. As a child I often dreamed of being able to fly and that´s what it possibly might look like.
I am not finished with it but I know if I spend more time on it it will become crowded with clouds and some more fairies and in the end I wouldn´t be able to concentrate anymore on my original intention.

this is for Loli, abbas, Dean, Rita and all, who I owe so much and can´t say it in words.

Love the combination of colors (quite pastel). The cloud wake trailing off the cloud ride was a good touch. The characters riding on the cloud are well done, such detail on such small characters. The flow of wispy clouds around the sun added a fluid movement, which brought all of the elements nicely.

This is gorgeous! I loooove the colors in the sky! It kind of looks like they floating in the ocean. The characters are wonderful and their expressions are so convincing and heartwarming! Overall picture is very well balanced as well.

thanks to all. I realized that I need to work some more on the clouds .. gnaa.... some look like waves O_o ... I think I should get a proper first aid lesson of a matte painter. >_<

The time you spent on the clouds is absolutely not lost. They are absolutely wonderful, making you dream.
I do find the two children in it a bit out of the overall painting style though. But the clouds make me dream. Love it.

Pros:

I love the colours in this, you've also mixed them in very well. The look of wonderment on the kids faces is great. I like the way you have knocked the colours back into pastel tones too.

Cons:

Perhaps the moon could use some more details to give it more depth and the bottom right of the painting seems a little empty when compared to the rest, thats subjective though.

Overall opinion/feedback:

Very nice work, it'd look great in a kids book and I really like your style.
